1. Berk the Halfling Thief - the ogres find him amusing. Burdug in particular dotes on him.
Berk: Thief-3 hp 14 AC 7 STR 8, INT 14, WIS 11, CON 13, DEX 17 CH 14 Al. CN. Berk is a happy go lucky type and inveterate stealer of gems - he has trouble keeping hands to himself generally, frequently goosing Summata. He has quite enjoyed his time in captivity, but fully intends to escape.
2. A nude, bound and gagged blonde, Sumata Mercellin, a wealthy mine owner (recently inherited from father). Sumata: hd 5d4 hp 17 AC 10 STR 8, INT 13, WIS 8, CON 10, DEX 10, CHA 13 Al. N. She was ambushed while travelling back from Goldcrest Claim, which is owned by the Mercellin family, by merchant convoy (with 48 gold bars) to her home in Heliogabalus. Her younger brother Geradil Mercellin is a prosperous merchant, and would offer 1,000gp for her safe return, 500gp for confirmation of her death and revenge on her killers. She also has the eye of the Prince-Baron, now King, Dimian of Banacath, and is a peripheral member of the Royal Court. Summata has been trying to persuade the ogres to ransom her, rather than put her in their cooking pot.
9. Ogre Shamaness (level 3) Burdug, hd 6+1 hp 30 THAC0 13 (sp: cure light wounds, prot fr evil, chant), STR 18/76 dam 1d10+4. 2 Ogre females hp 21, 13. Burdug's potion brews, all unmarked - clairvoyance, giant control - ogre, growth, polymorph self. Burdug is looking forward to cooking Summata.

Damage: 1d4/1d4/3d6. breath weapon 50'x5', speaks, no spells. SA: 30' radius aura of dragon fear (as the 4th level magic user spell) affecting creatures of less than 5th level/5 hd unless they save vs magic. If any creature, fails its saving throw against the spell, it will bolt away as fast as possible for 7 rounds. There is a base 60% chance for a creature to drop whatever it is holding (immediately upon failing the saving throw), reduced by 5% per HD or level of the panicked creature.
