Moathouse Maps

Re fixing up the moathouse to make it habitable, you're looking at around 500gp and a months' work for an engineer and work team to repair the walls, remove the destroyed upper level wooden superstructure, and put basic wooden sloped & tiled roofs on it to keep the rain out. That would give you a habitable single-storey building with the current floorplan.

Upper structure could then be added, taking around 3-6 months - restoring a basic second storey in wood with interior partitions would be 600gp for the Moathouse. Restoring the main tower to a height of 30' (adding two storeys) in stone would cost 900gp, add 100' of battlements around the top for +160gp, add machicolations for +1000gp if you're feeling wealthy.  :mrgreen: Doors +10gp per wooden door, or +25gp per reinforced door. A good oak bed with wool mattress, blankets & pillow fit for a person of substance is around 10gp. A cheap bed suitable for a senior servant or man-at-arms is around 2gp. Common labourers, scullery maids, kitchen boys etc are normally expected to sleep on the floor.
