A sweet natured and chirpy yet brave and honourable little thing, Ariel resembles a teeny tiny 1’6” tall female hoplite with copper breastplates & shield, short skirt, she even has a tiny spear. She normally stays hidden.

Background:
I was born to a high ranking human family in Damkina, the Brightflames, long known for their service to the Lady and the Throne. My obvious elven blood was a source of some consternation to my father Sir Palador, an aging Paladin of the Lady, and I was sent off to the Seminary at a young age. I was a decent novitiate of the Priesthood, but my true talent was seen in my deciphering the ancient arcane tomes in the church library. This attracted the attention of Torvald the Skandik, a kindly (if often grouchy) white bearded old mage originally from the Isle of Croy, who took me under his wing. Under his mentoring my arcane powers blossomed too. The years passed, and one day I was finally ready to take up shield & flail and venture out in service to the Lady. Then at the Investiture ceremony on the graduation stage, giving the exhortatory speech, I beheld an utter vision of loveliness - Elspeth, Matriarch of the Lady - and I determined I would make her mine!

Boss: Matriarch Elspeth Highmountain (h-f). High Priestess of Sapientiae Domina at the recently completed cathedral of Damkina. Wise but ambitious. She secretly feels Winsindor past his prime and is eager to call a crusade against the wicked. Alignment: LG (Athena)

I see Mage Torvald and my father Sir Palador along with Overlord Winsindor as part of the old generation, known as Boomers for their loud voices and overweening confidence. But the Boomers are aging - now is the time for a thrusting younger generation exemplified by Elspeth - and myself. 😀
